States I've Visited
I posted last week about all the traveling I did with my grandparents growing up. I thought I would do this states visited exercise that I first saw at PENSIEVE and have now come across a couple of times since I am back in the blogosphere. It puts me at 70%. Between driving with them, and living in 3 regions of the US, I've been around. Cool, huh?

Wow and you have never been to South Dakota, to the BEAUTIFUL Black Hills, Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Custer State Park. You need to plan your next vacation my way!!
Thanks for sharing!
You've missed the Carolinas! You MUST make plans to visit sometime :) (althought I'm not there anymore :( ).
I have been amazed at the amount of traveling bloggers have done! Me? I've never been out of the Continental U.S. (and not to many states in comparison). Thanks for the shout out :).
I have also been to Mexico and 3 Canadian territories (provinces??).
KM--I have a dear friend who is now teaching at USD, so maybe I'll make it there sometime. I think that my sister took that trip to Mt. Rushmore with my grandparents, but I missed it.
You've got to plan your next vacation to the Carolinas ... NC and SC are truly among my top 5 favorite states in the entire country. The people are warm and welcoming, the food is delicious, the history is rich and the scenery is gorgeous - pretty much anywhere you go. Mountains, beaches or lakes in between.
What a neat idea to create a map like this and plot out all of your "travels". This certainly helps to identify those areas to visit. My map wouldn't be nearly as filled in as yours! :)
This is very cool! I just posted it on my site, too. Thanks for the link, and for commenting about "The Little Engine That Could". Oh, how blogging helps us to procrastinate!
Wow! You sure do get around=) I have been to something just over a handful of states and some of those were just driving through.
WELL. I am offended. Not only have you not been to my beautiful Carolinas - (I lived 14 years in NC, then a decade more in SC) but you also haven't visited my birthstate of Idaho! And it is, of course, all about me... (HA!)
That's cool... round round get around you get around....
My husband says we drove through Ohio and Indiana--all the way through them--on our way to Connecticut and even spent the night in Ohio. I don't know if it counts if I can't remember it. He has been to even more states than I have.
Jennifer,
I hate to tell you that your map is incomplete. You have been to Maine. In fact you spent at least 3 days there. A little young to remember, though.
I have been in all but 5 states.
Irony - Although we have been in most of the same states, we did not visit them together. Love
Wow, you have been all over the place! I did that map before and mine wasn't nearly as filled out as yours although I must say I was in both Carolinas. :-)
