Free Book--Generation NeXt Parenting

Tricia Goyer has sent me TWO autographed copies of her new book,Generation NeXt Parenting, a Savvy Parent's Guide to Getting it Right, one for me to read and review, and another to give away to one of my readers.

The back cover gives great insight into what you can expect from this book:
Looking for practical, doable tips and guidance for raising today's kids? Want to help them love God and be all that they can be (even if they don't join the army)?

If 70's and 80's bands (Run DMC), fashion (hot pink anything) and technology (music on cassette) bring back youthful memories, Generation NeXt Parenting is the resource for you. Like secrets exchanged at recess with a trusted friend, this book offers helpful hints for raising your children during this exact time in history.

This book is designed like a magazine (not because you miss reading Seventeen, but because no parent has the time to read a book cover to cover), and includes:
  • Quotes from fellow Gen X Parents
  • Stats
  • Quizzes
  • Sidebars
  • Song Lyrics
  • Study Questions

Incidentally, if you appreciate my book recommendations, and you are going to purchase them anyway, won't you consider clicking through to amazon or Powell's through one of my links? Anytime you use one of the search boxes on the sidebar for any purchase, or one of my links, I will get a little credit in my account.

So, if you are interested in this book, either for yourself or as a gift (Christmas is coming, you know),email me by Monday afternoon and I will draw one name and mail the book out on Tuesday. I will ship to US or Canada. Also, you don't have to be a blogger to win.

That does sound like a dandy book - you're very good at reviewing. I won't put my name in the draw because postage to Canada is so prohibitive, but what a sweet thing to do!

Thanks for the link to Tricia Goyer's website. I knew nothing about her, but now I do! Her advice for writers, "See what God's doing, and join Him" is so wise.
