A fresh start...Faith lifts...lots to think about. During winter break 2006 my two teens went to winter church camp. My husband and I encouraged both even though our 14 year old son was pretty grumpy about it. The camp was 12/26-1/1. Campgrounds were in Estes park about 40 miles NW of Denver.

I should probaly mention that we live in Albuquerque, NM--It snows here but the snow doesn't stick and is gone by lunch.

I gave each teen a winter jacket, hat and gloves for Christmas. Definately one of my better decisions.

I am sure that everyone saw the news and knew that DENVER got dumped on. We couldn't get the kids when we were supposed to but better safe than sorry.

I have a strong faith in God and became more diligent and prayerful while my babies were away.

The one thing my son got out of the whole experience was that as he says "Mom I learned how to pray."

I don't think that I really need to change anything about me or my life. I never keep those resolutions. I think that I have a greater understanding of my life and the role God plays in it.

So here's to old starts, laughter and FUN! I want to have more fun in my life.
