I have a seven-year-old boy, and he's not reading chapter books on his own yet, although he could if he wanted to. He does read fun stuff on his own, though, like the Bad Kitty books, Spider magazine, and books I've already read aloud to him. I strew things around for him to find. I agree with Carolyn -- let him find what he likes, and maybe just leave stuff lying around for him to discover. Takes the pressure off, you know? (I have a 12-year-old daughter, too! Cool that our kids are so close in ages. :) )Carylhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05121648669908969665noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24945617.post-53810827127038096752012-01-15T07:12:27.068-05:002012-01-15T07:12:27.068-05:00Has Kyle tried Magic Tree House books? Also several things I've suggested to him, he's already read in school, either on his own or by the teacher to the class.Nancyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17006274519259391832noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24945617.post-25518232382001058912012-01-11T02:58:04.665-05:002012-01-11T02:58:04.665-05:00haha I think they are stupid too.haha I think they are stupid too.Aprilhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00374586629502175461noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24945617.post-59164844708875090532012-01-10T21:44:37.289-05:002012-01-10T21:44:37.289-05:00I read the Twilight series and I like it bit I agr...I read the Twilight series and I like it bit I agree. :) My sob like the Boxcar Children as wellUpstatemammahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16862359333933751151noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24945617.post-10208583516970258092012-01-10T21:11:55.716-05:002012-01-10T21:11:55.716-05:00From everything I've heard about Twilight, I t...From everything I've heard about Twilight, I think you should be VERY proud of Amanda for her assessment. :)morninglight mamahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04128926711800459894noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24945617.post-32227212112650693212012-01-10T12:53:19.023-05:002012-01-10T12:53:19.023-05:00Don't worry about levels!!
